Sit-on-Top Kayak Day Tours
 

First things first - You need no experience to enjoy our 2 hour and half day tours.

Join us on one of our trips to see the spectacular cliffs and caves of Freshwater on our 2 hour tours, stopping for a half way break on a beach only accessible to kayakers. How about a half day trip out of Yaverland under the cliffs of Culver, around to Whitecliff bay for drinks at the 'Wonky Cafe', then back for a celebratory ice cream. A half day trip out of Totland to paddle into the famous alum bay and close to the legendary Needles is another option.

We provide all the equipment you need to be comfortable and safe, and you will be led by an experienced and highly qualified guide. IWSK is a British Canoe Union approved Centre and we are also approved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.

We run tours most days throughout the summer on our super stable and comfortable Wilderness systems Sit-on-Top kayak fleet.
   
We always work on a low client to guide ratio, therefore our trips book up quickly, so we would advise that you book with us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You can be kept updated on likely tour locations up to a week before your trip by phone or email. If for some reason we are unable to offer the tour of your choice on the day you have booked, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.

What you need to bring with you:-

  • Large Towel
  • Shoes that you can get wet in
  • A warm top and tracksuit bottoms (these may get wet)
  • A complete change of clothes
  • Any medication (inhalers)

On most days, you will be out in shorts and T-shirt or tracksuit bottoms and warm top, with our wind and waterproofs on top, although we may decide to put you in a wetsuit if the conditions require it. Please feel free to bring any of your own equipment.
