SEA KAYAKING COURSES

The Isle of Wight has an incredibly varied coast line, from the multitude of sheltered bays to the caves and stacks of Freshwater cliffs to the exposure of the tidal race at St Catherine point and of course the well known views of the Needles. The Isle of Wight offers varied sea kayaking for all abilities.

We always aim to provide a very personal service with our sea kayak courses keeping to a very small coach to student ratio, you will be in a group of between two and six people, and it is often possible to arrange a personal course if there are two of you.

Isle of Wight Sea Kayaking run the largest number of sea kayak courses in the South by far; the reason for this is we have the best equipment, the most experianced coaches and the widest range of fantastic locations - we take pride and have a passion for introducing people to the awesome world of sea kayaking. If you are considering booking with another organisation in the South ask them a few questions first - will you be using full specification expedition sea kayaks or just the basic models; will you be doing your course based outside of a centre with a noisy powerboat buzzing around you; will your course be based on an estuary or inner city river - you may be surprised at what you are not being told!

Our two day courses include two nights B&B accommodation at the Sandpipers Hotel, where we are based, although the cost of this (£30 per night) can be deducted if wish to stay elsewhere or are not planning on arriving untill the morning of the course. Similarly if you are on a one day course and wish to stay let us know in good time and we will ensure your booked in.
