Our location really is unrivalled; no where else in the South can you have friendly surf beaches, tide races, caves, sea stacks, sheltered harbors and overfalls all within minutes of paddling. The Sea Kayak Core Skills Courses have been designed to make the most of all these locations to create a comprehensive and exciting paddling experience.

The Sea Kayak Core Skills courses aim to evaluate existing skills and adapt them for Sea Kayaking, developing new pratices and concepts and leading the way to independent kayaking.

IWSK are experienced and passionate about sea kayaking; the coaches that will run your course are among the best in the UK, they are the ones that train the staff in the other centres - your coach will be keen to pass on their enthusiasm for sea kayaking, working with you in a relaxed but professional way.

The Core Skills package is as much about 'individuality' as gaining an award. Participants will be encouraged to explore their own learning styles and personal development, finding the pace and progression that is suitable and rewarding for them.
