Heritage Kayaks are manufactured using rugged high quality polyethylene construction in all models. Each kayak is rotomolded into a single seamless hull and deck unit in one of several large, high temperature, computer controlled ovens for maximum strength and impact resistance. High quality polyethylene, though more expensive than lesser plastics, has been selected for its tensile strength and resistance to abrasion, impact damage and tearing as well as resistance to distortion from heat.
