Safety and Rescue Award
This award introduces
the fundamental skills and theory of safety and rescue in
a flat water environment. We look at towing, deep water rescues
and throwline rescues as well as the core principles of safety
around water. The course is run in both kayak and canoe. |

White
Water Safety and Rescue Award
This two day
course is designed for whitewater paddlers who want to gain
or improve their whitewater Safety and Rescue techniques.
The course is suitable for both open boaters and kayakers
and also fulfils the Safety and Rescue training requirements
for the BCU 4 Star Awards.

day to start the proccess of becoming a deliverer of FSRT

IWSK
Sit-on-Top Safety and Rescue Award
Sit-on-Top Kayaking is, with
a bit of training, a very safe activity. Our safety and rescue
course looks at setting the scene of prevention is better
than cure, and planning to avoid incidents; however things
go wrong, so we will show the skills of towing, self rescues,
assisted rescues and rescuing others. |
